One month to our Seattle Summer event!
Our Seattle Summer in-person event is now just over a month away! We have some info and reminders for you about game submissions, volunteering, advance ticket sales, and scholarships—let’s dive in!
Submit a game!
Go Play NW happens because you come to play and run games! While many games are organized on the spot through the Donut, many people also like to plan games in advance—and you can do that too! Check out our Scheduled Games list to see what people have already posted, and we’d love to see more—go to our Submit a Game page to submit yours!
Note that earlier this month we were having some trouble with a denial-of-service attack on our webhost, which meant some game submissions weren’t getting through—if you tried to submit a game before June 10 and don’t see it listed now, please resubmit it!
Volunteer with us!
Go Play NW relies on volunteers to help with all sorts of things: registration and vaccination checks; setup and teardown; making sure people have what they need to play their games; and assisting with the Donut. Volunteering is a great way to get to know the event and meet other attendees. You will also have our gratitude—and if you volunteer 8 or more hours, a complimentary badge to attend the full weekend. Learn more on our Volunteer page.
Get your full weekend badge by July 13!
If you’re not already an attending member of Go Play NW for 2025, there’s still time for you to become a member and get a badge for the full three-day weekend or for the individual days. The current membership prices are good through Sunday July 13; after that, the full weekend pass will no longer be available, only single-day tickets at higher prices, so we do recommend getting your attending membership today!
Scholarships are still available!
We also still have sponsored memberships available for community members who would have trouble attending Go Play NW for ANY reason. To apply, see our Scholarship page—we encourage you to reach out, even if you think you don’t qualify!
