Thank you for Go Play NW 2023 in person!
Thank you so much for our successful return to in-person events with Go Play NW 2023! We had a fantastic time hosting all of you at Centilia Cultural Center over the weekend, and from what we’ve been hearing, it seems that you all had a great time too.
We’re relieved to say that so far we have received no reports of any cases of COVID-19 infections happening during or after our event. Thank you all for your gracious diligence with wearing masks through the weekend!
Before we offer some thank-yous, we’d like to ask you two questions:
- Aside from overnight accommodations, how did you feel about our new venue, Centilia Cultural Center and El Centro de la Raza?
- If we were to return there next year for an in-person event, would you make use of a hotel room block close to one of the light rail stations?
We hope you’ll take a moment to let us know what you think!
Many thanks!

Also a special thanks to the staff of El Centro de la Raza, especially Cecilia, Estela, and Fabian, who were very kind and generous in working with us to meet our needs for the event and help ensure its success!
Thanks to your community spirit, we were able to offer scholarships to seven people who otherwise wouldn’t have attended Go Play NW in person this year. We still have some funds left over as well, which we’ll be keeping in the pool for next year.
Finally, thanks to all of you returning and new Go Play NW attendees! Go Play NW only exists because you keep coming back to make it happen, and we appreciate you!
October Online!
We’re not done yet with 2023, though! Coming up Friday October 27 through Sunday October 29, it’s Go Play NW Online! We’ll open registration for Go Play NW Online at the beginning of September, so start daydreaming about what you want to play now. Once again we’ll have a mix of games scheduled in advance via our website and pick-up games organized during the event through the Donut, along with the Friday night Lobby Con time to catch up with your friends and make new ones—all hosted virtually on our Discord server!
If you haven’t yet, now is a great time to join our Discord—it’s not just for our weekend event, it’s a place for you to stay in touch with all your friends from Go Play NW, make plans for games, and get all the news from us. And keep an eye here on our website for the announcement of registration opening for Go Play NW Online 2023!
